New Beginnings

Today I received a letter in the mail that states as follows:
November 8, 2010
Dear Sarah Curet:
Congratulations! As a result of your successful interview in Buhl together with your sponsoring Rotary club's endorsement, you have been conditionally approved by the District 5400 Youth Exchange Committee as an outbound student in the upcoming exchange year.
:) I'm so happy. So I'll write the whole story, for sake of short-term memory loss.
Mrs. Bertram told us in class one day that the Rotary was looking for students to exchange this year and so I decided to look into it, asked mom she said it was a go, got an application from the office at school and set to filling it out. With that done, I went to my first set of interviews which went well, and last weekend, a second set in Buhl which went well enough for me to get this letter in the mail! that's the short story edition, but it gets it done none the less. The weeks leading up to the first interview were STRESSFUL, but so worth it in the end. Now I have to set about raising/earning the 4,250 dollars needed to fund said adventure. I have 1,000 and something in the bank and am looking into a job in the kitchens at lost trail in the morning, if not there I'll spend my winter at slaveway I guess. I hope for the first, it won't be so painful. I'm really excited though :) CANNOT wait ahhh how sweet it is <3

BRAZIL! found out last weekend :) Portuguese here we come! now for a job... we shall address that issue today ye?
